Núria Tamarit will design the poster for the 41st edition of the Valencia-Mediterranean Film Festival

Núria Tamarit will design the poster for the 41st edition of the Mostra de València-Cinema del Mediterrani, which will be held from November 3 to 15, 2026. The Valencian illustrator was chosen through a call for proposals that received 43 submissions.

The Councillor for Cultural Action, Heritage and Cultural Resources and President of the Palau de la Música, José Luis Moreno, highlighted that “this year illustration has been chosen for the development of the image for the new edition of Mostra de València-Cinema del Mediterrani, and moreover, with an illustrator like Núria Tamarit, a creator with a renowned professional career in both the public and private sectors.” The Councillor also emphasized “the exceptionally high level of the submitted proposals, which confirms the excellence of Valencian design today.”

The call for projects for the 41st Mostra de València was supported by ADCV, APIV, and ComunitAD, who also participated in the selection of the winning proposal. Individuals or agencies interested in participating were required to submit a portfolio of previous work, as well as a curriculum vitae or summary of their professional experience. The scope of the commission extends beyond simply creating a poster; it encompasses artistic consulting for an institutional campaign, including a guidelines guide for the catalog and ongoing technical coordination.

Núria Tamarit expressed her satisfaction at being selected to design the graphic identity for the 41st edition of the Mostra de València, stating, “I am very grateful to the jury and the Mostra team for valuing my work and entrusting me with the poster design. It is a challenge for me, both because of the festival’s importance and the affection we have for the city. I am very excited, and we will work to create an attractive and distinctive image that will draw everyone’s attention to the Mostra de València-Cinema del Mediterrani.”
