Three stories starring Macedonian women who struggle to be mothers. One story is set in medieval times and the other two in contemporary times. All of them must deal with tradition and others’ desire to control their bodies.
The emotional challenges of pregnancy and adoption seen from different perspectives and at different times, through stories that are subtly interconnected.
