Pizza fritta

Pizza fritta takes place in Sanità, a popular neighborhood in Naples stigmatized by the Camorra. Carlo, a young director and actor who has grown up on its streets, wants to create a show in which to give voice to the people of the neighborhood through the numerous recipes that make up the Neapolitan cuisine. In his search he finds Ivan, a young boy who dreams of being the best chef in Naples. Carlo will not hesitate to put him in the show. Halfway between documentary and fiction, Pizza fritta is a journey to the heart of Sanità, to the social reality that beats in a setting that, though bittersweet, is full of recipes and hope.
