La violinista

A young Spanish journalist delves into the intertwined lives of two lovers while investigating the origin of an old violin. The investigation leads him to 1941 Singapore, where the dream of two young violinists, Kai and Fei, is shattered by the Japanese invasion of Malaya during World War II. Kai joins the Resistance and promises Fei he will return, but he disappears without a trace. For the next twenty years, Fei travels the world's stages, becoming a renowned violinist while holding on to the hope of reuniting with him.
