Soy Nevenka

In the year 2000, Nevenka Fernández, 24, finance councillor at Ponferrada City Council, suffers relentless persecution, both personal and professional, at the hands of the mayor, a man used to having his way in politics and in his personal life. Nevenka decides to report him, though she knows she will pay a very high price: her circle does not support her, Ponferrada society turns its back on her and the media subject her to a public trial. Her case sparked Spain's #metoo movement long before the term was invented. A story based on true events that turns its protagonist into a pioneer by bringing an influential and popular politician before the courts for sexual and workplace harassment for the first time.
