La Ruta VOL.2: Ibiza

Marc Ribó is the resident DJ at one of Ibiza’s top nightclubs in 1996, just as the island is about to become the world’s capital of leisure and nightlife. Yet only twenty-five years earlier, in the early 1970s, it had been an oasis of freedom under Franco’s Spain. That Ibiza is the one Marc’s parents knew. Marc’s youth in Ibiza becomes a reflection of his parents’ youth—so similar and yet so different, like the island itself, which somehow brings them together again.
