Ariel

After a strange boat journey in which all the passengers are put to sleep by a spell, Argentine actor Augustina arrives on an island whose inhabitants are in a perpetual state of Shakespearean serenity. She is guided by Ariel, the mermaid-haired air spirit from The Tempest, who in turn is motivated by Augustina to question her purpose and interrogate her feelings on an existential level. What initially seems like a performer’s paradise becomes frustrating when Augustina's attempts at normal conversation are interrupted by a dramatic play on words.
