Mariscal’s more than 70 years are marked by: black-and-white Spain; the transition from dictatorship to democracy; the birth of underground comics; the design boom; the miraculous ’90s; the digital revolution; the economic crisis; and the global pandemic. Exploring the life and work of this universal artist is also a portrait of an entire era. But above all, it is the story of a man who conquered the world and had to lose everything to find himself again. We will revisit his most representative works, from his earliest drawings to his most notable collaborations with Nazario, Almodóvar, Barceló, and Trueba. We will discover his peculiar lifestyle and his personal thoughts. He shows us that, despite everything, he has never lost his joy for life.
