Val\u00e8ncia Film Afers: Meet the Composer<\/b> is an initiative within the Mostra de Val\u00e8ncia co-production forum, developed in collaboration with Spot the Composer- Cannes Film Festival. The program pioneers the integration of film music into a co-production forum, recognizing its essential role in audiovisual creation. Through this initiative, <\/span>composers and filmmakers from Mediterranean countries are brought together, creating new opportunities for artistic and professional collaboration.<\/b><\/p>\n

In doing so, Val\u00e8ncia Film Afers strengthens its position as an innovative platform within Spain\u2019s film lab and industry forum landscape. VAL\u00c8NCIA FILM AFERS \u2013 Meet the Composer will select up to five composers to participate in the fifth edition of VAL\u00c8NCIA FILM AFERS, held during the forum (<\/span>November 8-11, 2026<\/b>), as part of the 41st edition of Mostra de Val\u00e8ncia \u2013 Cinema del Mediterrani (November 3\u201315, 2026) and the International Film Music Congress.<\/span><\/p>\n

Los\/as compositores\/as seleccionados ser\u00e1n invitados a participar en <\/span>VAL\u00c8NCIA FILM AFERS<\/b> durante los d\u00edas del foro (<\/span>del 8 al 11 de noviembre de 2026<\/b>), que coincide con la celebraci\u00f3n\u00a0 de la <\/span>Mostra de Val\u00e8ncia – Cinema del Mediterrani <\/b>y del <\/span>del <\/span>\u2018Congreso Internacional de M\u00fasica de Cine\u2019<\/b>, <\/span>benefici\u00e1ndose del entorno privilegiado que ofrece el certamen y aumentando as\u00ed su visibilidad.<\/span><\/p>\n

Selected composers will be invited to take part in <\/span>VAL\u00c8NCIA FILM AFERS<\/b> during the forum (<\/span>November 8\u201311, 2026<\/b>), held alongside the <\/span>Mostra de Val\u00e8ncia \u2013 Cinema del Mediterrani <\/b><\/a>and the <\/span>International Film Music Congress<\/b>. This unique convergence of industry events will provide participants with valuable networking opportunities and increased visibility within the international audiovisual and film music sectors.<\/span><\/p>\n

La Mostra de Val\u00e8ncia will cover travel and accommodation expenses for selected participants during the forum, subject to their active participation in the programme\u2019s meetings, events, and screenings.<\/span><\/p>\n
