Please read this year <\/span>CALL FOR PROJECTS<\/b><\/a> where we specify the requirements, then fill out the <\/span>SUBMISSION FORM<\/b><\/a> online before June\u00a0 30th , 2026, 12:00 p.m. CET (Noon).<\/span><\/p>\r\n

IF YOUR PROJECT IS SELECTED<\/h3>\r\n

Both producer and director will be invited to participate in VAL\u00c8NCIA FILM AFERS during the days of the forum (November 8 – 11, 2026)<\/b><\/span>,<\/strong> which will coincide with the Mostra de Val\u00e8ncia festival -Cinema del Mediterrani, benefiting from the privileged environment offered by the event and thus increasing its production potential.<\/span><\/p>\r\n

THE FORUM<\/h3>\r\n

VAL\u00c8NCIA FILM AFERS organizes a public presentation of the selected projects for industry professionals and individual meetings between its directors and producers with possible coproducers and industry partners, both from the Mediterranean region and beyond. Our goal is to support the internationalization and financing of feature film projects.<\/p>\r\n

    • English. Pitchings and meetings will be conducted in English. Materials (Video\/Audio)\u00a0 to be presented during the pitching should have English subtitles.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
    • What kind of projects can apply? <\/strong>\r\n
        \r\n
      • Fiction and non-fiction feature film projects, understanding that non-fiction feature films do not include journalistic reports or documentaries for television. It includes creative documentaries and hybrid narratives.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
      • Do I have to have financing in place?<\/strong>\r\n
          \r\n
        • Yes, at least 15% of the financing for the project should be in place.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
        • Can I apply with a project that does not take place in the Mediterranean?<\/strong>\r\n
            \r\n
          • Yes, you can apply with a project that is shoot in a country other than the Mediterranean countries, but it should be produced by a production company established in a Mediterranean country.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
          • How many projects can a production company submit?<\/strong>\r\n
              \r\n
            • Various, but no more than one project from a production company will be selected.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<\/li>\r\n
            • Who is part of the project selection committee?<\/strong>\r\n
